Funny tilt shifted wrestling from the Hulkster

This is a tilt shift video of a wrestling match. The way the focus of the camera lens is set up, it’s a surreal experience.

It’s almost like looking at toys playing around a square ring. In actuality, it’s the return of the Hulkster to wrestling in the Great Down Under. I think he won, but it’s kind of hard to tell. The video is shot from so far away, it’s hard to make out his walker and oxygen bottle…

I did like the wrestling girls that pranced around in between acts — the gyrating hips as seen in this tilt shift style video made them even more like little raunchy Barbie dolls. The music in the video isn’t necessary, but distracts enough from the video to make it tolerable.

Rescue Rangers, in miniature

Using a TiltShift method, this water rescue is both good and fake, in more ways than one.

Sound req’d for the cool way it makes the video seem surreal.

Bathtub IV from Keith Loutit on Vimeo.

Australia-based photographer Keith Loutit is responsible for this, and is doing this all over Sydney Australia. The method of shooting is what makes it seem like they’re little toy people. And in this case, it’s a little toy helicopter on a training exercise that you get to see rescue a little toy fisherman who’s fallen into the ocean.
