Yes, you did hear that right!

I think that I have a devious mind. I say this because I don’t seem to think the same way that other people around me think. You know the quote
‘Some folks see things as they are and say ‘Why?’ Others see then as they could be and say “why not?’†Well, I tend to see things and say “What if?â€
Right after 9/11 (when the details of what actually happened began filtering out), I opined that the attack seemed a tad too elaborate for the people who pulled it off. Plus there were simply too many holes in how it happened to make sense (and, yes, I’m one of those aging Kennedy Conspiracy Theorist), to me, it sounded like the plot of a John le Carré novel.
I felt that it all seemed a little too pat to me. I felt that some über-patriot who felt that the U.S. was a touch too soft on foreign terrorists just might plan an attack on U.S. soil — “sacrifice†civilians and then use the terror assault to leverage a ramped-up military program that would (put money in their pockets) and/or achieve their agenda. In the aftermath of that tragedy I was told to keep silent in this regard as no one would ever actually do that, and how could i even think like that.
I was willing to think that it was just me. then I heard this guy:
| The Daily Show With Jon Stewart | Mon - Thurs 11p / 10c | |||
| Osama bin Laden Needs to Attack America | ||||
|

Now I’m not so sure any more. Although I do think that someone needs to slap the crap out of both Glen Beck and his “guest.â€

I try to avoid the whacko Republican fringe, but when the whack Republican fringe has a guest that has even more whacko ideas, it's a bit like some sort of strange bizarro world that only Kafka and Stalin could truly appreciate.
