    My son took a bus home from Syracuse (5 hrs), then a train home from NYC (1 Hr.), only he thought he lived in Stamford, not Norwalk, and bought the wrong ticket, so I had to drive 20 minutes to get him instead of 5. But it worked out OK. At 2:00 A.M. there was no traffic, and I got to spend an extra 15 minutes with him in the car, where we had a nice conversation.
