The Accidental Hurricane
by Walt br>Final Update: The storm veered to the right before hitting the coast, and did strengthen to a hurricane before doing so. Color me impressed.
I suppose my going outside and blowing east must have done the trick. Meanwhile, rain will eventually fall on parts of parched Alabama from this thing.

EVERYBODY PANIC!!!
Okay, don't panic. Just keep your umbrellas handy. Winds at the coast might reach 40 mph.
Where I currently sit is on the dry side of this rain event, so if I get four inches, I'll be surprised.
The rest of Houston, especially east of town, should get around 10-12 inches of rain. Lovely.
