“Seriously, what does Palin actually add to the ticket?”

All I can say is this:

1. I didn’t care much for McCain.

2. I don’t like Biden.

3. Obama scares the fecal matter out of me.

Palin is the only person in the election who I even like. Before her nomination I really fealt pretty lousy about the election, that no matter what happened we were either going to get a stubborn old man who wants to open the border or an extremist community rabble rouser.

Palin is the only person in the race I can root for.

P.S. … for the record I’m not part of the “religious right.” I’m a non-religious Jew with a strong libertarian streak.

Just thought that I would share this with you all (as you all know, I can resist anything except temptation).

Pitbull with Lipstick

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. They keep telling us that Palin was mayor of the second-largest city in Alaska (9,000). I’m not entirely sure, but I’m reasonably certain that there were more kids than that in my High School.

Oh yeah, the Republicans keep straining themselves patting themselves on the back by “finally” cracking the glass ceiling and putting a woman on the ticket. Lest we all forget, the Democrats did that some 24 years ago when Walter Mondale put Geraldine Ferraro on the ticket in 1984.

Welcome to the party (finally), you pinheads.

What can I say. She’s the only one in this election I like.

You should keep in mind that two things.

1) the old saw about a woman who had two sons. One became a ship’s captain, and went to sea, while the other became Vice President. Neither was ever heard from again.

2) The only Constitutional job that a VP has is to break a tie in the Senate and to have a pulse.

I keep hearing folks say that (at his advanced age) if McCain wins, he won’t seek reelection; if that is the case it will open up the Veep slot in 20012, and (as of this moment) she seems to have about as much of a shot as did Dan Quayle.

Still, it is important to remember that we are voting on who will lead, not who might possibly lead if the leader were to be disabled (only nine times out of 44). Hence the election should be about the politics and policies of the guy at the top, not the cuteness of the person one rung down.

A couple things,

*I kinda Like Biden, I really wish his version of the FISA bill would of passed instead of the rockafeller lite version. and he was one of the very few senators who rallyed behind Dodd against the initial POS bill Reid allmost fast-tracked.

Although biden’s historic record i may not agree on, Obama is much less likely to drop dead then McCain.

*for some reason I’m thinking someone who taught consititional law might just understand the limits of the power of the presidency.

and this is of preticualur importance because we have a congress that has shown us it won’t/can’t stand up for itself.

*Palin was a nobody before she started making ties to lobbyist, does anyone think she would of become govenor if she hadn’t met steven silver?

*the republican’s continue to cling to these Jacksonian Ideas, but in reality when you rely on spoils system you end up getting people like Harriet Miers.

I think i like Gilf better then vbabe

Mike, I’m entirely sure that I’m going to regret having asked the question, but, GILF?
