Justice for Money!
Monday, November 9th, 2009Last week, Stephen Colbert went on a rant about the State of Arizona’s plan to privitize the State’s prison system by selling off nine of it’s 10 prisons, and then leasing them back from the new owners.
Yep, while that may sound preposterous to, well rational people, apparent the very notion of Arizona selling its prisons then leasing them back from the buyer to solve short-term cash flow problems somehow sounds like a great idea to the elected government officials in Arizona.
