This video has been everywhere, but I missed it when it played on the news, so I'm posting it here.

A VERY expensive and rare automobile was filmed as it drove into shallow water near Galveston Bay.

Sound not req'd and a language warning for the obvious moment of truth.

The driver claims he was distracted by the combination of a dropped cell phone and a rogue pelican. The video can probably disprove the pelican, as you'll see below.

[The owner of the car] owns a company that restores damaged luxury cars for resale. A 2006 Bugatti Veyron was recently offered for sale in Jonesboro, Ark., for $1.25 million.

So, most likely he'll be fixing the car up himself. In the meantime, he reportedly turned his cell phone off because of the number of calls various the media, celebrities and Governators were making to find out more about this car. (There's only 15 in the US, apparently. Bugatti Veyron cars, that is, not 15 Governators... )
