Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Dog

On sale this weekend, along with a host of other Spider-Man products made by Hasbro.
Want to be reminded that these toys are on sale?
You can get Spider-Man to call you...

By the way, the toy pictured above gets a music feed from your iPod or whatever, and then "reacts" to the music in some sort of fashion akin to Jerry Springer on "Dancing With The Stars"

I totally want one (of each)! So remember, my birthday is coming (not until September, but why wait!)

We got one of those iDog things, and they're pieces of crap, really. We'd thought it'd move a lot more than it actually did. All it does is wag its ears and head. Why they're still on the market is beyond me!

Well, because once people like you bought the initial grouping, and determined that they were crap, they then licensed and released versions like the Spidey-Dogs we see above, and geeks like me will say “Yeah, I know it’s crap, but it has Spidey on it!’
Once we’ve run through our share, they’ll release a version with all the Major League Baseball teams then the Hockey teams, etc. By the time all the sports fans have figured out that they are crap, they’ll have Barbie, Transformers, and Dukes of Hazzard versions.
Then, when they’ve run through all available licensed products, they will release an icat model, and start all over again.
The Licensing gods must be served. Just ask Captain America...oh, wait, you can’t because he’s dead.
