More server glitches — fixed

The server glitched again today and for a brief time went “on walkabout” as the term goes.

At the core of the issue seemed to be a corruption of the yum database. It’s like if your Windows machine were doing a Windows Update and it didn’t know which files needed to be updated, and/or where to look remotely for a list of files that might be newer. Not the core operating system files, but important because the files keep everything uptodate. Literally, that’s one of the processes, only it’s spelled all Leet like, up2date.

That seemed to be the initial problem on our server going down the other day, and glitching again today. The original problem never did get fixed, it seems. It is now.

Looks like it’s all back to normal.
