Quick, who's this a picture of?
Without makeup, it's pretty hard to tell, isn't it?

And finally, the name of Grace Sherwood has been redeemed. Her good name has been rightfully restored. It took the state governor of Virginia to do it, but by golly, the old woman needed things to be set right.
You see, Grace was wrongly put on trial. Her trial started when her thumbs were tied to her toes, and then she was tossed into a river -- where she floated, I might add. Her trial ended when she was hauled out of the water and jailed.
You see, Grace was accused of being a witch -- and that she used witchcraft to cause another woman to miscarry. Thankfully, the story goes that she didn't die, and lived quietly until the ripe old age of 80.
Every year around this time, the a small group get together and reinact the trial. (Man, those people need a life!) Anyway, the Witch of Pungo as she's called is well known.
It's just that the news is about the governor pardoned her before the actress portraying her was about to reinact her part in Grace's "trial".
Funny part is that the area is famous for this witch, but nobody wanted to raise the funds to put up a statue of the area's most famous attraction. Nobody wanted to contribute money to a witch statue... So... according to the governor, that's not a problem any more, because she's not a witch!
Case closed. Sheesh.

So who won the ballgame and why didn't you watch it?
July 12th, 2006 at 9:16 am
The team that always wins the ballgame won the ballgame because the closer that is the best in the League that always wins blew a sure save by giving up three hits in a row. I watched the only inning that counted: the ninth. Blah.

Well, the header earlier was about last night's All Star game, and since when I was bloghopping this morning Walt was sleeping, I asked him on here who won!

I put up the header pic yesterday, and then didn't mention the game. they mentioned it.
What can I say? The American League All Star Team, otherwise known as the "Chicago White Sox and Friends" should have outclassed the National League Team, and for eight innings, this wasn't the case, which was the only surprise.
I tuned in at the top of the ninth inning, and saw the entire game.
At least nobody got their solar plexus heat butted.
