BOO!
by The Perfessor br>Yep, today is All Hollows Eve and we are supposed to go out as a scary creature of the night and scoop up some candy. to that end, I want to present the cartoon at the left, as a cute rendition of what I find entertaining.
OK, OK, so it is (obviously) a Spidey riff. What, did you expect something different?
Actually, I also wanted to do a brief promo about my new comic (to be sure, it isn’t actually “mine†so much as a new short story of mine is included in the anthology. In case you’ve missed it, I contribute to an on-going illustrated horror series (a comicbook, if you will) entitled Psychosis! (issue #1 can be found here — if you are interested in acquiring #2, post here and I’ll get you info on how to do that as well).
Last year at Halloween, we debuted our premiere issue. We were supposed to have a second issue out much earlier this year, but “technical†issues prevented that (read: some creators couldn’t figure out how deadlines actually worked, and sandbagged the issue for the rest of us). Anyways, it is out now, and man, does it look good.
Once again, we produced four covers; two of which will be available for mass market distribution, with the other two covers being convention specials only (that is to say, they will only be available directly from Guild Works Productions and The Comicbook Artists Guild at comic conventions. All four covers can be seen here (the first two are the “regular†covers, with the second two being the convention specials. The cover illustrating my story, is the one with the shooter on the cover.
Enjoy!

The signature on the cover of your gun shooter story looks like something is dripping down his leg. On the plus side, however, it does have that 'Alex Ross' look to it. For the longest time, I kept around a pic on my hard drive of a woman... a topless woman... looking down in the same fashion as this one... standing over the camera, looking down the barrel of a large caliber hand gun, both hands on the gun, her naked breasts being slightly squeezed together by her straight arms holding that gun on the viewer. A nice effect.

separately, here's a view of my wife's latest cover for a German release:
Ah, truth in packaging.
