A Day when Comics can Run Free!

by The Perfessor

Yes kiddies, today is Cinco de Mayo Free Comicbook day!

You should all rush out to your local comicbook store and grab up all of the freebie comics that are available (no, not all comics are free, just a select few — but that specific set of comics clocks in at around 30+). The event is to promote comicbook awareness and has been going on for five or six years.

If you want to know more about Free Comicbook Day, go here! if you want to find a comicbook store in your area, do this link. If you want to catch Spidey on the big screen, do this one, and if you are just hungry and want to have some Burger King Spidey food, do this.

The only one that might interest Cuppacafe's non comic book readers is Greg Rucka's WHITEOUT. While it doesn't have the entire story in that issue, it is certainly enough to have you decide whether you like it or not.

WHITEOUT's movie rights have been licensed, and it is still on track to eventually hit your movie screens

Was that meant for me? Since I read Greg Rucka?

Hey, there was more than just that book for our readers. There was a whole load of very cool stuff that was given away on Free Comicbook Day!

    No, seriously!
